Major Procedures

Major surgery is any invasive operative procedure in which  more extensive resection is performed, e.g. a body cavity is opened, organs are removed, or normal anatomy is altered. In general, if a mesenchymal barrier is opened, the surgery is considered major. For surgical procedures that do not clearly fall in the above categories, the chance for significant inadvertent microbial contamination is to be a primary consideration.Our hospital deals with following major procedures:

 Orthodontics Procedures

Orthodontics is a specialty discipline of dentistry that focuses on alignment of the jaws and teeth to improve a person’s oral and social health by improving its function and esthetics.This department diagnoses, treats and prevents irregularities of jaws and teeth with the use of orthopaedic and orthodontic appliances. These appliances can be used to allign the jaws and  teeth respectively. They also correct an irregular bite, close unsightly gaps and bring teeth and lips into proper relation. Crooked teeth that do not fit together correctly are harder to keep clean and are at risk of being lost early because of tooth decay or periodontal disease.Our hospital provides following orthodontic procedures.

  Operative Dentistry

Operative Dentistry is the art and science of  prevention , diagnosis and treatment of problems in enamel, dentin and pulp of individual teeth.The procedures involved are:

Crown & Bridge Procedures

Both crown and bridge are fixed prosthesis.Unlike removable prosthesis such as dentures, which can be removed and cleaned daily by the paitient itself. Crown and bridge are cemented onto existing teeth or implants, and can only be removed by a dentist.
