Punjab Dental Hospital which is located in the famous walled city of Lahore, was established in 1928 and is the affiliated teaching hospital of de'Montmorency College of Dentistry, which was named after the then governor of Punjab.The hospital is considered the premier institution for dental treatments in the public sector hospitals. Around 100 dental units are catering to all dental specialties i.e, Prosthodontics,Orthodontics Periodontics,Paedodontics and Conservation,There is Oral and Maxilloficial surgery unit with GA facility and bed strength of 30 which cater many ailments of Oral and Maxillofacial region.Every year about 100 house surgeons are being trained in diffrent dental specialities in our hospital. Keeping in mind the importance of ancillary staff, the Dental Technician School was established in 2000 so that all lab procedures pertaining to the patient could be done in an in-house basis. Now the fabrication of prosthesis like porcelain fused to metal (PFM) and dentures and Orthodontic appliances are some of the appliances fabricated in the technician school. Our trained doctors are serving the humanity in different parts of the world. Our team is striving hard to keep our hospital at top in providing quality dental treatment to the public. In the constant strive for providing the optimal care and catering to the changing needs of our patients, we are in the process of upgrading our facility by making addition like Central Sterilization System Department and Central Compressors Department etc.In the coming years we aim to be the best dental healthcare provider in the region.
